Possibility of Time Travel and The Advancements Needed for It

Yes, time travel will be possible in near future but not now. As, many things still need to be discovered which are needed to be studied for time travel and several experiments are still needed to be done to make time travel possible. These experiments will be hopefully carried out in the near future and maybe time travel would be possible afterwards.

Time table is amongst the most discussed and researched things in Physics. It is related with Einstein’s theory of relativity and theory of General Relativity. According to these theories, time is an illusion and is relative. If someone needs to travel through time, he would have to travel faster than the speed of light. The concept of black holes and worm holes are also under study. Worm holes are considered to be the pathway between two black holes. Worm holes were described by Einstein but they still remain to be seen. Time travel can be further studied if we find worm holes and their mechanism of action. The next thing is that the normal human body and objects cannot withstand the gravitational pull of a black hole and a worm hole. To travel through them or to work on their mechanism, we will have to convert matter into energy and we will need speed double than the speed of light as explained in Einstein’s mass-energy equation (E = mc2).

So, if we discover worm holes and discover the mechanism of travel between two black holes, we can travel in time but by converting ourselves into energy. But for all of this, we will need the speed double then the speed of light. We all should believe all of this will be possible in the near future and we will find ourselves travelling in time.
